Saturday Sessions for Early Care and Education Staff: Curriculum Activities (5 hours) Our Saturday Session will be held at the Florence Family YMCA on Saturday - October 9, 2021. We will begin at 10:00 am. The event has been approved by SC Endeavors for 5 hours in Curriculum. What does it mean to embed a concept? To embed a concept is to help young children learn skills as they are engaged in their daily routine and experiences. In this learning experience, we will explore how to embed social-emotional learning strategies into a variety of preschool daily routines, such as Circle Time and transitions. We will also explore music, books and other activities that also support social-emotional learning.
