Campus Lutheran invites you to a free screening of the 2003 film "Luther" You're invited to join us for a free screening of the 2003 film Luther, starring Joseph Fiennes, Alfred Molina, Sir Peter Ustinov (in the final role of his lifetime), and Claire Cox. This all-star cast tells the story of the reformation, from the moment law student Martin Luther is frightened by a storm and promises God he'll become a monk if God will only spare him from the storm, to Luther's study of Scripture that leads him to the discovery that God's grace is all that's needed for salvation. The problem: That interferes with the Catholic church's plan to sell forgiveness of sins to help fund a new cathedral in Rome. We hope a whole new generation of people will discover this amazing story that quite literally changed the world, and we hope that those who have already seen it will want to share it with someone else. Refreshments will be served. Bring a lawn chair or other folding chair as existing seating is extremely limited.
