Come hear Marty Moore, co-founder and CEO of Meissa Vaccines, share his experiences in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Marty Moore (UGA BS ’95, PHD ‘03) is co-founder and CEO of Meissa Vaccines. Prior to co-founding Meissa, Moore was an associate professor at Emory University and director of the Emory Children’s Center for Childhood Infections and Vaccines. He developed a genetics platform technology for generating vaccines by synthetic biology. This technology was recognized as Emory University’s innovation of the year in 2013. Meissa is currently in clinical trials with two vaccines, one against RSV and one against COVID-19. Meissa’s COVID-19 vaccine candidate is designed for intranasal administration as a transmission-blocking, end-game approach to the pandemic.

The easiest place to park would be the North Campus Parking Deck. You can walk directly to the Innovation Hub from the Floor B exit of the parking deck.
