Punk Guitar Player/Singer Looking To Start A New Band

Hey everyone! I'm a 25-year-old guitar player/vocalist looking for some local (within reason, a town or a few away from Ventura is fine) musicians who are enthusiastic and have an "as long as we're having a good time" attitude. I've been playing guitar on and off since I was about 10, and honestly, I'm not a technical player when it comes to musicianship. I played with some friends in High School, starting on guitar, and then transitioned into doing vocals as well. We usually weren't the best, but we had fun and were about it, did a handful of shows with local Ventura and Nardcore bands close in age, and I sort of stopped playing with others and focused on my job and myself for a while after we split up. I'd really just like to play some punk rock and/or folk punk with cool people right now. Some inspirations of mine are Operation Ivy, Rancid, Days N Daze, Pat The Bunny, Harley Poe, The Taxpayers, Descendents, The Interrupters, and The Vandals. If it sounds like we could vibe then hit me up! I'm also really into the idea of having a female vocalist to do harmonies with and trade verses, but anybody cool at all is welcome. Let's play some shows and record some stuff! Cheers!
