Learn how to use common hand and power tools to build a free pantry for the Gardens of Millvale! Join us on Thursday, September 30th from 6-8pm in the library backyard to build a new free pantry for the Gardens of Millvale! Learn how to safely use hand tools, power drills, and the miter saw to construct a sturdy, waterproof structure for the distribution of free food directly to our local community. The free pantry will replace an existing structure that has become weathered. Adults and teens are welcome. Safety equipment will be provided. Meet in the Millvale Community Library backyard at 213 Grant Avenue, Millvale PA, 15209. This workshop is funded by a generous grant from the Three Rivers Community Foundation. This is a free workshop with a $5 deposit. Should you choose to donate your $5 deposit, your donation to the Tool Library will be doubled for Love Your Library Month!
