Join the Valpo Park Foundation as we "Celebrate Friends & Legends" at this free event on Thursday, October 7 at William E. Urschel Pavilion. "Celebrating Friends & Legends" reception is held each year to honor those who lend support and volunteer to aid in the mission of the Valpo Parks Foundation. The "Art & Irene Malasto Legends Award" is presented to give recognition and appreciation to an individual or business who has provided extraordinary support on a consistent basis over time through volunteer service, leadership, and/or gifts of financial support. .  The "Legendary Friend Award" is presented to a "Friend"  that has supported and/or promoted the Valpo Parks system in a significant way through donating his or her time, talent, and/or treasure.  The "Community Champion" Award serves to honor a relatively new resident or young person or family in the community who significantly supports Valpo Parks through their volunteerism, leadership, and their philanthropy. Please join the Valpo Parks Foundation in celebrating this years honorees at the 2021 Friends & Legends reception on Thursday, October 7 at the William E.
