Description
NEWTON, MA — The City of Newton is celebrating the new addition to Oak Hill Middle School with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, September 22 at 8:30 a.m.
The new addition to the school is fossil fuel-free and created three new classrooms, support spaces, offices, restrooms, and expanded physics education spaces.
Once the solar panels are installed, the project is designed to be net zero, according to Mayor Ruthanne Fuller's office. It is also on-time and under budget, thanks to Josh Morse, Tommy Rooney, and the Public Buildings team.
