Description

Welcome to the The Paper Warehouse, a new haunted attraction that's designed to transport you into a realm of terror from decades ago. An abandoned warehouse, this building was once home to the area's top regional newspaper named the Hub City Ledger. It was produced here from its inception to its untimely end. Located within the dilapidated building were a photography darkroom, offices, warehouse, and printing press. Approximately 60 years ago, an accident led dozens of employees and visitors to an early demise. Some speculate it was a chemical fire resulting from a freak accident; however many believe something more sinister was happening in the name of profit. The "accident" and conspiracy surrounding the extensive loss left the warehouse and its production of the Ledger to cease all production permanently. The Hub City Ledger building sat dormant for years. Its crumbling walls and chained doors served as a reminder of its grievous past. However, restoration efforts have uncovered strange sightings and events, leading to speculation of something deeper lurking in its walls. A greedy publisher, ambitious photographer, and a long-suffering (yet committed) warehouse manager have all emerged for the first time since the 1961 incident. The tortured souls have begun to manifest in ways that mortals can't imagine. It seems that the eternal tenants of this space have made it clear; the warehouse is their home, and visitors are not welcome. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ F.A.Q How many people in a group can go in together? Due to the size of areas within the haunt, individuals will be sent in (to hopefully return) in groups of 6. It's recommended that groups who would like to experience the haunt together purchase their tickets as one order at the same time. Under very special circumstances, larger groups may be permitted, but this is not likely. Any questions on this should be addressed with HCLO prior to purchasing tickets. Is there an age limit? Although there are no age restrictions, children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. We do not recommend our event for very young children. If I get too scared, can I get out? If you get too frightened within the haunt, we will have staff available to escort you to an early exit. Do you offer refunds? There are no refunds under any circumstances - enter at your own risk. This is an indoor event and will continue in rain or shine, with the exception of natural disaster level weather. Will there be security present? Security personnel will be present during the event to ensure all rules are followed by guests, actors and staff. Our number one priority is the safety of our mortal visitors. Are you handicap accessible? Yes, patrons with wheelchairs or other disabilities are welcome to attend! If special accommodations are needed, please inform the ticket booth upon arrival with any special instructions, or message us beforehand. A staff member will accompany your group to assist if needed or help to divert individuals in wheelchairs or motorized scooters on alternative routes. In order to maintain safety standards, we do not recommend taking crutches and other such devices into the attraction. If you must use them, a staff member must accompany your group. Will the actors touch me? We have a "no-touch" policy - you don't touch us, we don't touch you. Unfortunately, due to limited and dim lighting inside the haunt, you may occasionally come into accidental contact with one of our staff. Staff members or actors will not grab or maul you in any way. Can I purchase tickets at the door? Absolutely! You are welcome to purcase tickets at the door. However, please note that only a limited amount of tickets will be sold each night. It is reccomended to reserve your spot by purchasing a ticket in advance for your desired night. WARNING! DO NOT ATTEND THIS EVENT IF YOU CURRENTLY HAVE FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS OR FEVER.
