Educational and Networking Event for local employers to learn more about returing citizens and financial incentives for employers. MSHRM and the Academy for Career Development, a program sponsored by MAIC has formed a partnership to bring together local agencies and regional employers. This will be an afternoon "experience" of Second Chances – A Roadmap to Re-entry. This event is free to local employers that want to learn more about how to successfully hire returning citizens. We have covered all of the education, Q&A, and support from the local agencies to educate on how to integrate a successful program within your organization. We invite you to come out and hear current employer success stories, engage with local agencies, meet returning citizens, and ask the hard questions. Plan to stay for an incredible time of networking after the event. As our world continues to rapidly change, so does the landscape of attracting and retaining employees. This event will speak to the leaders and their growing concerns on how to continue to attract talent to move our businesses forward in the future.
