CLARKSTOWN, NY — A backhoe was consumed by fire Monday afternoon on Old Mill Road. It started at about 2:45 p.m., Clarkstown police said. The conflagration caused a road closure for about an hour between Babbling Brook Lane and Boxberger Road. (Google Maps)
