The City of Malden Removal of Snow and Ice from Sidewalks Ordinance requires every home and business owner to remove snow and ice from sidewalks abutting their property. To assist residents who need help in complying with this Ordinance, the City is compiling a list of Service Providers who will perform snow and ice removal services for a reasonable fee. The list will be provided to residents upon request. Residents and service providers will make their own arrangements relative to scope of work, time of performance, fees, and payments.
Who should I contact if I want to be a Service Provider? Individuals who would like to become a Service Provider are asked to submit their name, address, telephone number, email address and other pertinent information to Ron Cochran at [email protected].
Who can participate? Service Providers aged 18 and over will need to submit to a Criminal Offenders Records Information report (CORI) background check. High school aged students are also encouraged to participate but require a parent's permission and a school reference.
