LIDO BEACH, NY — An responsive man was discovered in the water at Lido Beach on Sunday afternoon, Nassau police said.
Marine Bureau officers brought the victim to the Jones Beach Coast Guard station where he was pronounced dead by a Bay Constable medic, detectives said.
The victim was not identified.
Police are investigating the incident, but seek any help from the public. They can call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
