Part Time - Interior Plant Maintenance Technician

We are looking for someone to spend about 8-10 hours a week to: Maintain roughly 200 interior plants for one single building in downtown San Francisco. Small amount of exterior watering included but majority of the role includes maintenance of interior plants. - Tasks include watering, pruning, cleaning and trimming. - Identify and treat plant health issues, monitoring the health and appearance of each plant as needed. - Report to office about site issues (placement of plants including additions, removals and relocations, plant health issues, etc.). - Physically move and install plants as needed. - Maintain maps to keep plant locations current. * Weekly hours must be consistent however position allows you to set your own schedule. * Qualifications: - Interior/commercial plant maintenance experience necessary. - Dependability - Employee must maintain a professional appearance. - Employee must have solid enough communication skills to converse with employees at location and also computer skills to communicate with office. - The position is moderately physically demanding so applicant must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and push the fairly heavy plant cart for roughly 2.5 miles to cover the building's plants. *On site parking available* Candidate will be subject to a routine background check upon application.
