Description

Seeking volunteers for a study on cognition/memory in aging at UCSF. We are looking for volunteers for two separate studies on cognition in aging. If you believe that you have a memory complaint or been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment you may meet our criteria for inclusion (see below). Both studies involve the use of noninvasive neurostimulation (transcranial alternating current stimulation). One study takes place primarily within your own home without a researcher present and the other primarily at UCSF Mission Bay campus. The latter study includes two MRI sessions and two blood draw sessions. These studies are both looking for participants who meet the following criteria: - Between 60-80 years old - No neurological or psychiatric disorders - No history of substance abuse - Not currently taking anti-anxiety medication - No history of seizures - Corrected to normal vision (no glaucoma, macular degeneration, amblyopia, strabismus) If you would like more information, please contact us at the email in the flyer. We are able to do some aspects of the study in the Petaluma area as well as UCSF Mission Bay in SF.
