hi, former BMW mechanic here, used to work years and years ago, pre 1977,,LOL anyway, I need a local tech to come over and help me diagnois a problem I am having with an engine thats in a boat I own, Its a D 530 td engine, that Im having some problems with, The problem is the lack of a turbo boost, I hear no indication of a turbo, and the engine is very lethargic. So........... what I need is someone to tell me if its the turbo itself or something else, I do not believe its electrical, as the engine runs perfectly, but do not get that " customary tail wind" feeling when it kicks in so I will be glad to pay for time obviously, but I will do the wrench work,, or,,,,,,,,, maybe not,, well see, thanks Im Bill two three nine six four five six two zero zero Im in the Cape, and have a very flexible schedule, boat is at my home, thanks call me anytime
