Description

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Four homes in San Clemente's Cyprus Shore community, a community club house and a vacant lot all have growing cracks in the foundation, The Orange County Register reported Tuesday. The cracks in the community club house were first noticed last year, and a higher swell resulting in crashing waves on Sept. 10 worsened the cracks extensively. This report comes less than a week after Metrolink and Surfliner halted services to the San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente and Oceanside stations Sept. 16. The buildings experiencing cracking are located near the damaged train tracks. For more information, check out The OC Register's coverage on the damage in Cyprus Shore.
