NAPERVILLE, IL — Three cats were rescued by Naperville firefighters after a fire broke out in a home's attached garage Tuesday afternoon. Fire crews were called to the 700 block of Hayle Court just after 3:15 p.m. after smoke was seen coming from the garage. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze and put it out quickly, according to a news release. No residents or firefighters were hurt in the fire and the residents were able to return to the home.
