Pet squirrel!

Description

Hi! I use to rescue kittens, and have rehabbed one baby squirrel successfully in the past. This little one, however, was found a lot younger than the other. She was found under a palm tree at 3 weeks old, no nest or mom in sight, cold. Her name is Tipsy! I took her in and syringe fed her, she's become extremely attatched. She's TERRIFIED of the outside world, she'll follow me outside and then puff her tail, freak out and try to hide. If I put her in the grass in front of me, she'll try to climb my legs. Put her on a tree and she jumps off at me or sits still, petrified. I keep her in a medium sized bird cage with logs to climb, but its no place for a squirrel long-term. She keeps rubbing her face on the bars causing fur loss..trying to escape for attention. She use to escape the top just to come find me to cuddle. We had to block it with cardboard, hence why it can't be long-term lol. She gets let out often and just follows me through the house waiting to be picked up. She just wants attention, to curl up in your hands and be pet. She needs more attention and space than I can provide currently. She's fed fresh fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds daily. No peanuts or corn in high amounts! They're actually very bad for squirrels if given too often. I also give her oxbow rat food. Please do research on what foods are bad for squirrels before feeding new things! She'll come with any food I have leftover. She's friendly with cats! Doesn't like my chihuahua, but that's probably on the dog. She just wants to lick her haha. The cage can come with her if wanted, but again she needs an upgrade! Rehoming fee $250 Squirrel, cat, dog, mouse, rat, rats, mice, pet, animal, rehoming, rehome, cage, bird, small animal
