The effort to recall District Attorney George Gascón stalled this week, but proponents have vowed to try again later. Speaking of races, heading down the stretch, the Dodgers remain one game behind the Giants in race to top the National League West as well as the league overall. Though the Dodgers are on fire, LA's housing market is finally showing signs of cooling.
