Description

Press release from the Wright County Government: September 21, 2021 With freeze warnings being issued tonight for much of northern Minnesota and tomorrow (Sept. 22) being the autumnal equinox, it's a clear sign that colder weather is coming with the change of seasons. For those who enjoy the fall colors, with a hard freeze along the North Shore of Lake Superior – one of the most visited sites for those who travel to see the leaves change – the clock will officially start ticking on the time leaves will change color before falling. To help keep Minnesotans aware of the status of the fall leaves, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has its Fall Color Finder map, which includes updates from Minnesota state parks in all corners of the state. The Fall Color Finder map and updates can be found here: https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/fall_colors/index.html  This press release was produced by the Wright County Government.
