Join a dynamic organization that is quickly growing and expanding! We are looking for qualified Maintenance Personnel to join our team. ON-THE-SPOT interviews with our Regional Teams will be held on September 29th & 30th from 7AM to 4PM. Location: 8753 Spinnaker Way, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197 RESPONSIBILITIES Performs maintenance or repair as per assigned work orders within specified time frame including but not limited to: - Electrical and plumbing (including water lines). - Hands-on maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools, etc. - EPA Type II or Universal certification is required; CPO is a plus. - Basic computer knowledge, Windows (Word, Excel) internet and e-mail - Interior/exterior lights. - Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors. - Boiler, gas and electric. - Changes door and other locks; cuts keys as needed. - Performs work area clean-up and safety related duties. - Reports unsafe conditions to their supervisor or office (when applicable) e.g. broken steps, open holes, broken/burned out exterior lights, etc. - Removes and transfers heavy appliances and equipment from storage area to apartment (or vice versa) as circumstances warrant. Assists in moving abandoned furniture, appliances, etc., to dumpster when necessary. - Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter. Rakes, sweeps, shovels as circumstances warrant. - Maintains all site equipment in excellent condition and operate in accordance with operator’s manual or guidelines. - Follows proper procedure regarding inventory and equipment check out. 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience required. Able to work both independently and as a member of a team. SCHEDULE Monday to Friday On call/Weekend availability EXPERIENCE Apartment Maintenance: 2 years (Required) Yardi: 2 years (Preferred) Appliance repair: 2 years (Preferred) Availability to be on-call to address any emergencies.
