Description
Press release from Winchester Public Library:
September 21, 2021
According to the Alzheimer's Association, Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of dementia. By the year 2050, the number of people age 65 and older with Alzheimer's dementia is projected to reach 12.7 million. In fact, one in three seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia. More women than men have Alzheimer's or other dementias, which is most likely due to the fact that women live longer than men on average. The resources listed here cover all aspects of the disease and offer solutions, science, and advice for caregivers. Hope, memory exercises, and guidance for the future of this disease are covered in these books. Also check out one of our 3 Memory Minders Kits pictured here!
