Let's start a punk band

Hey all! I’m a reasonably experienced guitar player looking to find some other folks to start a punk band with. I’m 29 years old, been playing guitar for close to 15 years, and have a good amount of experience playing in bands and playing shows. I’m looking for a singer, bassist, and drummer who want to make the same kind of noise that I want to make. Rather than try and describe the sound I’m going for and list my influences etc., I’ve written and recorded three songs that pretty well encapsulate the sound I want to shoot for. These songs are definitely bleaker and more confrontational than what I usually write, but we live in bleak times, so it only feels appropriate. Please forgive the shaky pitch and shitty timbre of the vocals: there’s a reason someone else should sing these songs! But I’m otherwise pretty proud of these songs and am committed to pursuing this sound. It’s been about three and half years since my last band broke up, and I am aching to put something together and get back out there. I’ve got a practice space ready to go, so that won’t be an issue. Bigots and those who have had their minds warped by the right-wing propaganda apparatus need not apply. I am also fully vaccinated and expect you to be as well. I would love for this band to be more diverse than the bands I’ve played with in the past, so bonus points if you’re not a white dude like me!
