Cost of moving a few large boxes from San Diego to Chicago

I’m in WI and need to get my belongings out of storage in San Diego. Searching for most cost affective way to get them transported without spending a lot of money. Was considering flying to CA, getting a rental car and driving it back. Any ideas? Thank you.
