Blue is a female unknown age, was brought to me as a stray 6 months ago, she’s been cross posted and shared on tons of sights but nobody has claimed her, my plan was of course to keep her since she got along great with my flock. That was until today, she just killed two baby birds back to back. It kills me but I can’t have that. She comes with her bonded friend ( leaning towards male but she/ he is still young) I believe he or she is molting right now!! The bars on head are starting to fade and I’m finding feathers everywhere. Both fairly good when out of the cage. The females he’s grows very fast so she needs plenty of calcium chews, cuttle bones, and at least one rough perch. If you don’t have experience trimming, she may need a trip to the vet/ petsmart every few months for a beak trim. They’re both fairly good about hands but The younger one especially. I do love these birds dearly so I’ll be asking questions, they will come with their travel cage pictured but they cannot live in it!! I’m even open to buying them a cage if anybody has anything cheap. Message me please for details.
