After the initial value one gets from "flagging" a posting, what else goes through your mind? Warwick, Orange County and fear of truth. Here in Warwick we have a local business, Cafe A La Mode, who's owner has referred to Jewish people as demons. Makes light of the Jan 6 break in at the US Capital and has a sexist attitude toward his employees and women in general. And there's a right wing cabal running the very localized newspaper, Dispatch and Wtbqanon He supports a born rich real estate developer, several times bankrupt, failed one term president with failed businesses and made his real money on television, but is best suited for World Wide Wrestling. Someone who ran for President to gain additional notoriety, gets in and folks believe he's working on behalf of "the working man". All the while gaming the system, cheating on his taxes which he never revealed and sowed distrust into the American political system. OK, the system is far from ideal, but after 40+ challenges to the 2020 election results, rejection by judges appointed by him and other Republicans, he advanced the big lie. That being that it was stolen. Really? So the same system, same election that election other Republicans was rigged? If it was rigged why isn't there an overwhelming Democratic majority? Only rigged against him? Is this how we'll view every election moving forward? The loser claims the other side cheated? And then what? It's a sad time for Democracy and a scary one for Jews and people of color.
