NOW HIRING MyKabin LLC is seeking a Carpenter to join our team. As part of our construction team, you will be responsible for a range of carpenter tasks throughout the construction process in order to keep our 10+ current projects moving along smoothly. In particular, you will spend time on framing (SIPs exterior, standard interior), decks, trim and finish work. This position will need the ability to coordinate projects, manage and oversee subcontractors, and perform skilled carpentry in a professional manner. Position requirements include, but are not limited to: WHAT YOU WILL DO Work closely with our Construction manager and construction team to perform varying carpentry tasks, from foundations Communicate frequently and professionally with project managers and customers regarding project status Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive jobsite Train and coach teammates as appropriate THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE 2-10+ years residential construction experience, particularly in trim and finish carpentry, along with the skill and ability to use all applicable industry standard tools. Experience with SIPs is a plus Ability to read basic plans and understand construction processes and timelines, ensuring that work gets done efficiently and meets high quality standards A valid driver's license and reliable transportation that can carry necessary tools and equipment. Having your own full set of tools is a plus, but we can provide if needed Ability to pass a criminal background check Possession and/or the ability to obtain a valid First Aid/CPR card within ninety (90) days of employment A verifiable track record of punctuality and attendance A great attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility to solve problems as they come up WAGES & BENEFITS $20 - $25 per hour (DOE) We offer a full package of benefits including healthcare, competitive wages, PTO and paid holidays, profit sharing, and a dynamic workplace.
