Adopted your lost dog in 2018

I adopted "Moonpie" 4 years ago and he is my happy dog ever since. He is a large (110 lbs) black shepherd mix, about 12 years old (guess). His right eye was bulging, and after that problem intensified, our vet removed it. I am most likely moving overseas, and the plan is to take him with me. At this point I am wondering: is there an owner who keeps crying over losing him, and also would do everything to get him back? This is very unlikely. I do remember however my old dog who escaped during a great storm and I never saw her again. I know how does it feel. It might just make you feel good that Moonpie is ok.
