Rockford, IL - Tree climber & bucket operator, with a Class B or A CDL preferred. Compensation: Compensation is based on experience, wage can be discussed. Paid holidays and medical benefits. Soppa's Tree Service is a small family owned company, just because we are a small business, doesn’t mean can’t afford to pay an above average competitive wage for the right person and in some cases, we pay more than a large company. We are looking for an experienced tree climber and a bucket truck operator, with at least 3 years full-time experience, working for a tree company. Must have a current DOT medical card. Must have a valid and a clean driving record for the past 2 years. Must be able to operate an aerial lift, bobcat loader, stump grinder, chipper, equipment, etc. Must be experienced and familiar with most tree knots and how to rig and lower down large limbs over houses and power lines. We will not accept any applications with a personal record of theft. Must be able and be willing to show up on time, 5 to 6 days a week. We work around 45 to 55 hours a week, April through November. December to March, it would be around 40 hours a week. We pay overtime after 40 hours and you will receive a normal payroll check every week. You will not be paid as a sub-contractor. Must be drug free. Soppa's Tree Service is a very well-respected tree company based in Rockford, IL.
