Housekeeping/ Day Porter for Preschool needed in Frisco Primrose School of Griffin Parc is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping/Day Porter to join our school team! This is an ideal position for someone who is excited about working with a great team and wants to support the efforts of maintaining our school. As part of the Primrose Preschool Team, you will enjoy a full-time position with a supportive, family friendly environment. About the Job: Reporting to the School Director, the full-time Porter will help support our students by helping to maintain a neat, clean, free of clutter and safe learning environment. As Full-time Porter you will be responsible for: · Cleanliness and Maintenance · Maintain cleanliness of the school · Maintain a cleaning schedule that will include cleaning of floors, chalkboards, wastebaskets, windows, furniture, equipment, and restrooms. · Keep school building and grounds, including sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and play areas, neat and clean. · Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily, all classrooms, office, kitchen and common areas. · Empty all trash and diaper containers throughout the building. · Ensure sinks and toilets are thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis, as well as soap and paper goods are replenished as needed. · Maintain entry area and halls to ensure clean windows and dust free. · Ensure the building smells fresh and clean at all times. · Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, events, etc · Assist teachers with needed support for clean and safe classrooms. · Responsible to close and secure the building. · The critical features of this role are described above but not all encompassing. About You: · Must be friendly, joyful and of good nature. · Must be trustworthy and RESPONSIBLE. · Experience cleaning and maintaining a large building · Must pass a background and fingerprint check. · In good health and able to move and/or carry up to 30lbs. · Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently · Strong initiative and strong work ethic · Able to work well in a team environment. · Ability to consistently work Monday-Friday, 1:00pm to 9:30pm and Saturday or Sunday twice a month.
