Our Church Choir is Now Hiring a Tenor to Sing with Us St. Mark's Episcopal Church in South Austin is looking for a Cantor / Tenor Section Leader for our music program. We are seeking a vocalist with the ability to sing from printed sheet music and to model vocal production for our volunteer singers. Prior choral music singing experience is required. Wednesday evening rehearsal: 7:00-8:30 p.m. Sunday morning warm-up and service: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Cantoring approximately once a month for 9:00 a.m. Sunday service Additional rehearsals and services surrounding the holy seasons of Advent, Christmas, and Easter. The pay is $35 per call, averaging $315 per month. Total pay for the academic year (Sep to May) will be $3,000 to $3,500 depending on the singer’s availability. All employees and worship volunteers of St. Mark’s Church must be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19.
