Job description Custom Home Furniture Galleries is the premier high end furniture store in the region and we continue to grow every year. In addition to our primary store and warehouse, we stage model homes through our Staging & Design branch, we oversee the incoming and outgoing furniture from our gift store, Niche Décor & Gifts, and will soon be opening the doors on our new Outlet store in Leland! With all of this growth, we need hardworking and dependable people to join our team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage incoming freight and making sure that it is stored safely in the warehouse. Quality Control!!!! Opening and inspecting furniture is the most important thing we do. We do everything we can to make sure that items are free of damage and defects! Ensuring the accuracy of our loading process for outbound deliveries. You will work with team members to safely and efficiently handle, lift, and deliver home furnishings to our clients. The handling and moving of furniture is labor intensive. It requires a strong back as you will be moving many items (some in excess of 300lbs). You are also exposed to the elements. We work rain or shine (and provide rain jackets when needed). It is hot in the summer and cold in the winter! We work Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm, with a 1 hour lunch break. Some Saturday work may be required. You MUST have a valid driver's license and maintain reliable transportation to and from work! Previous experience is a plus but not required as we will provide training for all new hires. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $14.00 per hour
