DARCARS Automotive Group is now hiring a Part Time Custodian. Position Summary: The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for the dealership employees and customers in accordance with company policies. For this role, you'll need: Valid driver's license and clean driving record Physical ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds Ability to work in all weather conditions In this role, you'll: Cleans areas throughout the dealership to maintain a safe, clean and pleasant environment for dealership employees and customers Cleans work areas, empties trash, collects scrap and used materials to process in accordance with company policy and local, state and federal regulations Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees Washes windows, glass doors and glass panels throughout service, sales and customer areas. Arranges for contract window cleaning per direction and supervise the work of the contract window cleaning. Sweeps, vacuums and mops floor on schedule: arranged for buffing or waxing and carpet cleaning per scheduled floor maintenance program Cleans all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans, and vending machines Maintains hot beverage areas by cleaning counter surfaces and restocking coffee and related supplies Cleans bathrooms and restocks paper supplies as needed Notifies supervisor of required materials and supplies to perform duties Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary. Empties and cleans lunchroom refrigerator once a week. Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside Removes all debris from dealership Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to working with hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management immediately Communicates with Supervisor if additional work is needed Follows all attendance and punctuality standards with adherences to timekeeping standards Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with company policy Other duties as assigned This job advertisement in no way states or implies that these are the only duties and responsibilities to be performed by this employee.
