Primaltones Venue in Newport, Oregon is honored to present, an evening of music not to miss with: High Step Society! When you combine the honeyed tones of The Jazz Age with hottest beat drops of the new millennium, you get High Step Society’s elixir of live Electro Swing. Merging dance music from our past with sounds for the future, High Step Society features a shimmering horn section that soars over syncopated high hats and rat-a-tat snare. The kids in the band are electronic music producers as well as educated jazz musicians. Audaciously sophisticated, High Step Society is rethinking jazz with unorthodox arrangements, and bringing a touch of elegance to electronic music. Formed in 2015, they are off to a rocketship start, playing festivals and packing dance halls across the Northwest. Door opens at 7:30. Music starts at 8:30 with DJ Lithic opening and High Step Society beginning their set at 9:30pm. All ages until 10pm. After that its 21+ only. Tickets are $25 (1/2 price for 21 and under at the door. All ages until 10pm) Our bar will be open with a variety of local micro brews, cider, wine and hard seltzer options. We'll also have a food truck on site, an outdoor social area and a gas fire pit too. We'll also have a "Witches and Vampires Ball" costume theme. So dress up in your favorite get up and celebrate the season and music!
