Warehouse Worker *Hourly Pay: $13.00 *Location: San Antonio, Texas *Employment Type: Full-Time *Work Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM JOB DESCRIPTION: *Responsible for execution of various duties and tasks associated with daily warehouse functions, operations, and activities. *Also responsible for inventory movement in the Distribution Center by properly documenting the shipping and receiving of the merchandise. JOB DUTIES: *Load and unload trucks *Sort, count, inspect, and receive inbound orders *Complete inbound receiving process by identifying discrepancies between vendor shipping documents and company purchase orders and communicate all noted discrepancies to appropriate departments *Accurately and neatly stock products in proper locations *Select, palletize, and audit outbound orders *Prepare shipment paperwork and communicate with freight companies to schedule pick-up and delivery of shipments *Complete assigned inventory cycle counts *Assemble equipment for display on the showroom floor *Accurately complete shipping/receiving logs for all inbound and outbound shipments *General warehouse maintenance and housekeeping *Provide assistance to customers picking up orders by verifying the inventory transferred, customer invoice, merchandise being released, and obtaining the customer signature of receipt *Prepare freight quotes for internal company use by querying LTL freight carriers and/or the freight quote system *Prepare and submit freight claims to the freight carriers by obtaining pertinent freight documents, determine freight claim amount, and completing the freight carriers claim form *Ensure all freight claims are monitored and followed through with until final resolution *Provide internal customer service by performing stock checks, transfer information, and outbound shipping information *Other job-related duties as assigned by a supervisor You can also follow the link below to complete our online job application.
