Description
This month’s ride will feature a ride from Baltimore to Washington D.C. to participate in the DC Bike Ride Festival. Ride Description: This group ride lead by Ride Leader Shaka Pitts this is an intermediate to advanced group ride for riders who are capable of riding distances of 35 miles or greater at a moderate pace of 16 mph or greater. This ride is designed to allow riders to ride as a group and explore areas outside of Baltimore City by bike. This month’s ride will feature a ride from Baltimore to Washington D.C. to participate in the DC Bike Ride (https://dcbikeride.com/) festival. This is a “No Drop” ride and riders can expect for have a ride leader and a sweep for riders who fall of the back. Once we reach Washington D.C. we will take part in some of the activities at the DC Bike Ride Festival, then Ride the MARC Train back to Baltimore. Ride Instructions: Shaka Pitts will be your Ride Leader and will be meeting everyone starting at 7:30 AM at St. Mary's Park 601 N. Paca St. Baltimore, MD 21201.Riders in need of riding instruction (gearing, seat adjustment, etc.) should arrive at 7:30AM for individual assistance.
