Manufacturing business located in Astoria looking for a Full - time laser engraver and plaque assembler. We are looking for someone with experience using and operating a laser engraver, specifically a ULS brand engraver. Pluses include (but not required) are: advanced computer skills, retail experience, artistic and creative nature, good with their hands, mechanically inclined, and willingness to learn new skills. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to completely train the right person. Job Description: • Prepare layouts in CorelDraw. • Accurately measure and cut material. • Efficiently operate a laser engraver. • Plaque and statue assembly. • Maintain an adequate inventory. • Assist other departments on an as needed basis. • Entry Level Job Requirements: • Good communication and customer service skills. • Ability to multi task. • Mechanically inclined. • Good with their hands. • Basic computer skills necessary • Ability to learn quickly. • Knowledge of CorelDraw graphics program helpful. • Must be articulate and proficient in speaking and writing English. • Position will also include basic retail store duties.
