Help Wanted: Maintenance/Handyman Position

Immediate opening for a full-time maintenance and repair person for a local property management company with properties located in Cambridge and Somerville. This position would be ideal for a person with a variety of handyman skills including: Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance repair. Rudimentary carpentry and painting The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and have a strong customer service philosophy. Responsibilities would include: Responding to tenant requests for apartment repairs such as plumbing, electrical issues. Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements. Participate in after hours on-call on a rotation basis with other staff. Assist with seasonal work such as landscaping and snow removal. A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record is required. Tools and company van would be provided. Covid vaccination and Cori check will be required. Must have common sense and a great attitude! Hourly rate negotiable, opportunity for advancement. Regular work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
