THE CHEF GET TO KNOW BRANDON HIGHSTONE Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Brandon Highstone moved to the Rogue Valley and began his culinary career in 2000. After graduating top of his class in 2008 from the Medford Culinary Academy, Executive Chef Highstone worked for many notable restaurants in the valley and earned third place in both the 2008 Southern Oregon Top Chef and the Battle of the Bones competitions. Inspired by his travels abroad and flavors reminiscent of the Northwest, Highstone uses fresh ingredients as the foundation for creating delicious and artistic dishes. With a tradition of sharing since 1934, Harry & David is known for the finest fresh fruits, specialty foods, and expertly crafted gifts.
