Fall hiking season is here! Join Afro Trek Tribe at Midewin Tallgrass Prairie September 25th from 10am - 2pm for a 5 mile hike. Midewin Tallgrass Prairie is nearly 9,000 acres of prairie located in Wilmington, IL Midewin has 33 miles of hiking available, we will hike the 10 mile trail but will only be walking 5 miles that’s dedicated to hiking only. The cool thing about this prairie is that it has a herd of bison. Now we may or may not see them due to the size of the prairie, but you never know.
