Rashad Reed November 20th 3-5 p.m. Join St. Paul UCC of Pekin at Creativity Uncorked!, 819 SW Adams,Peoria for the Second Annual Paint and Pray, creating your own artistic masterpiece!This is an afternoon of inspirational family fun and fellowship while eating, painting, laughing, and encouraging each other as we enter Advent season.No artistic experience is needed. Master Artist and St. Paul UCC Artist in ResidenceR RASHAD REED will guide you through your Christmas masterpiece.All art supples are provided at no charge for this Social DIY experience. PHILOSOPHY: There are many common spiritual connections between religion, the arts, and the Church. We believe that St Paul UCC has an unique opportunity to leverage our current strengths, assets, and activities to enhance the quality of life for the people of Pekin in a way that promotes spirituality and an appreciation for both our church, and The Church. Furthermore, utilizing the Arts to explore and promote multiculturalism will aid in our church’s mission of bringing people together through love and mutual understanding at a time in our own community and in the world where both seem absent.
