Built in 1953, Cassiano Homes, adjacent to Cassiano Park, is the historic epicenter of the Chicano mural movement in San Antonio, where the community transformed nearly 30 walls of public housing in the late 1970s and ‘80s into striking depictions of strength, resilience, and cultural pride.
