A 1-DAY FILM CHALLENGE FOR MARIN COUNTY STUDENT FILMMAKERS!
We're back live! The 7th Annual Marin School of the Arts (MSA) Film Challenge: Working in teams, students are given 3 required story elements and must write, shoot, edit and deliver a short film within 8 hours! Then we watch the completed films that night in our brand new state-of-the-art venue, The Center for the Arts!
SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY
9:00 AM / Meet at MSA Film Studio to check-in, receive instructions & the 3 elements
10:00 AM—6:00 PM / Write, shoot, and edit the short film
7:30 PM / Free screening of all films at MSA Center for the Arts, open to the public. (Tickets available at http://bit.ly/7thFilmChallengeTix )
9:00 PM / Presentation of awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd + Fan Favorites
Open to all Marin County High School students (4 students per team maximum) / Limited filming equipment is available: suggested that students bring their own cameras, tripods and any other equipment / Students must have a (minimum) 32GB memory card to store film / MSA workstations with Adobe Premiere Pro available for editing / Awards will be given — both those determined by our panel of judges and the audience vote for fan favorites!
NOTE: Only one student can register your team, but you can order 2-4 free "tickets" depending on the size of your team.
