Join us to discuss various local available resources and develop a plan to utilize them to support local military connected entrepreneurs. Please join us as a follow-up to our April roundtable from earlier in the year. During our roundtable we will discuss the various local available resources and develop a plan to utilize the resources to support local military connected entrepreneurs. You'll find us on the fifth floor of The EDNEY Innovation Center. Lunch will be provided. Community Roundtable events are designed to reengage with our community partners. The roundtable is designed to provide a forum for conversation between veteran entrepreneurs, entrepreneur service organizations, and community leaders on the topic of supporting and growing veteran entrepreneurship. The focus should be on facilitating dialogue with partners and entrepreneurs around: • What is working to help businesses survive and grow within the community? • What do veteran entrepreneurs need to succeed during COVID and beyond? • What resources do the organizations in attendance have that can be shared? • What policy recommendations can be provided to local elected officials that can help entrepreneurs get through and recover from COVID? The end state is to put together a community action plan with a list of resources and recommendations that can be shared with entrepreneurs, other organizations, and elected officials. The action plan should be signed off on by all and participants should agree to share throughout the community. *During the COVID 19 pandemic, always defer to local CDC regulations for in-person gathering regulations and attend in-person events at your own discretion.
