StartUps Give Back + the SD Food Bank this fall! We will be packing, and sorting meals. Join us for a day of service, networking and fun! StartUps Give Back is group volunteering where startups work together to help nonprofits in their local communities. Our registration window has opened with the SD Food bank for anyone who can join us on Oct 8th! Please follow the instructions below by 9/30, and get yourself signed up! (if you have previously registered with the food bank, let me know... I have a different process for you). REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS Each volunteer in your group must create their own account with the San Diego Food Bank (this includes children, friends, significant others, family members, etc.). · There are two steps to sign up for your shift. After creating an account, each volunteer must then sign in to their account, scroll to the date of your event, and click the green “sign up” icon. 1. Visit http://sdfb.volunteerhub.com/account/signin and click “create an account” 2. Create a user name and password, click next 3. Enter join code “staugb” (join code is case sensitive), click next 4. Fill out account information and click “next”. 5. Scroll to the event date 10/8 and register for MIRAMAR Warehouse Volunteer Morning Shift 9am-12pm by clicking on the green “sign up” icon. Startups Give Back is the volunteering event where startups get out of their offices and work together to help nonprofits in their communities.
