First mate on 39’ sailboat in Naples FL area wanted. This is a part time position to assist on the boat during daily charters including sunset cruises. Individual must have several years of sailing experience on a boat of comparable size and be able to skipper the boat when needed. This includes leaving and docking at the slip. Individual must also be willing to submit to random drug testing. This is a good opportunity for someone looking to log hours on the water as part of obtaining a USCG license. Duties may also include regular maintenance such as cleaning/waxing exterior of boat. This position may also be a future business opportunity for the individual to acquire the boat and run his/her charter business. It may also involve helping deliver the boat to New England for summer and operating a charter business up in that area as well. Boat is in very good condition outfitted for coastal and blue water cruising including equipment/systems such as radar, chart plotter, VHF with MMSI, AIS and auto pilot.
