Requirements: • Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience serving in a Locksmith role. • Candidate must be able to pass an in-depth criminal background screening. • Candidate must be insurable on our auto insurance policy. Summary: The Locksmith is responsible for all aspects of installing and servicing locking devices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Work with system to accurately pull and prepare locks for use and delivery. • Ability to modify hardware for locks. • Ability to maintain the designated key system. • Rekey as needed to support customer needs. • Ability to cut keys by code. • Ability to maintain, service, and install residential and commercial hardware. • Ability to pick locks. • Ability to impression keys. • Stock and manage inventory in lock shop and warehouse. • Pull and pack orders for shipment • Perform receiving duties as needed. • Utilize the electronic system in place for photo verification on all orders. • Work independently to achieve daily assignments, communicating with the team regarding any issues. • Follow all safety rules and guidelines associated with the position and any equipment used. • Handle all customer service concerns brought forth by representing the company professionally and in the interest of service. Request assistance from supervisor when needed. • Follow all safety rules and company safety guidelines to verify the employee and company are protected at all times. • Complete all paperwork/documentation promptly and accurately. • Ability to maintain order records; • Follow all company policies and procedures. • Attend all assigned meetings. • Other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Valid FL Driver License Driving record deemed acceptable to company insurer. Background check required 3 years’ experience serving in a Locksmith role. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
