One of the most discussed problems living together in groups larger than families is the problem of how to deal with the “bad neighbor.” It is easy to conjure up images of the bad neighbor both from personal experience and from popular culture. Local Governments often claim solving the bad neighbor problem as justification for planning and the litany of regulations that accompany that plan. Those regulations stifle entrepreneurial activity, limit economic opportunity, restrict property rights, and reward political connections. Dr. Yonk will discuss this reality and alternative ways of thinking about the bad neighbor problem. Eventbrite Tickets Required. This event is free and open to the public, but we suggest a donation of $20 to help sustain the chapter. _______________________ More about the speaker: Ryan M.
