Description

Artful giving from the team behind Serve Kindness Meet the women behind Serve Kindness - and shop their collection of glass bowls, locally crafted gifts that give back, during our upcoming pop-up event. Serve Kindness was created by Melissa Brooks and Jillian Darling who met more than 10 years ago when their daughters were in nursery school and developed a strong friendship based on shared interests in art, travel, and food and common values of kindness, truth, and humility. They work with local master glass-blowers in Essex, Massachusetts to create handblown glass bowls. And with every purchase of Serve Kindness glass bowls, you’re giving back to deserving organizations and spreading kindness from our tables to our hearts and throughout our communities. The Drawing Room’s charity of choice is NAMI Bristol County. A portion of every Serve Kindness purchase made at our shop will go to NAMI’s work: providing advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives. The team behind Serve Kindness will be joining us as part of our Sonata Saturday event. We hope to see you there. The Drawing Room is a carefully curated product and design shop located at 36 N. Water Street, New Bedford, MA. We feature original, handcrafted work by New England artisans. Our focus is on quality craftsmanship whether you are looking for artful gifts or a statement piece to hang on your wall. Shop owner and architect, Anthi Frangiadis, uses her keen eye to choose each part of the collections, so you can bring artistic elements into your world.
