National Make a Difference Day is October 23rd and we're asking the community to get out and get involved! Volunteer opportunities available to tackle small non-cleaning household maintenance items needed by elderly residents in the Gilbert area. Services include, changing light bulbs, smoke detectors's batteries, removing boxes and bags for donations or garbage, etc. Meet us at OneSource Shipping & Printing at 7:00 am on Sat. Oct 23rd, the address is 1496 N. Higley Rd. Suite 102 Gilbert 85234 (Safeway Plaza). We will distribute and assign the list of Gilbert addresses needing service. Each team of 2 or more will need to bring their own gloves, masks, and ladder. We will provide the batteries and light bulbs.
